We started our community work in 2020 with a call for much needed transport help from Bellshill Athletic FC in North Lanarkshire, Scotland.
After an arson attack on the first and youth teams changing rooms, storage area and lounge areas, help was requested with transport of porta cabins
from Bridlington FC, up to Bellshill FC to replace the ruined building. Operating to a tight schedule to clear Bridlington and get to Bellshill, we heavily subsidised all transport arrangements for 6 artic flat beds for the 270 mile trip. The project took time at Bellshill to complete during Covid, but after initially being let down and vastly over priced by other hauliers, Red Dog Transport came to the rescue and ensured revenue they saved with us, was spent on the club in a time of need.
As you can see, all first and youth team players, family friends and supporters now have ‘new’ updated facilities for them to progress in their respective leagues for matches, training and social events they can now hold at Bellshill FC, Rockburn Park.
