With our new headquarters based in Beeston, Nottingham, we didn’t have to look far for another sponsorship opportunity to ensure young footballers get the best start to their playing years.
Within a mile of our HQ, Phoenix Inham FC had a coach and manager with sufficient players in place to form under 9s teams. Red Dog Transport contributed a full kit and also player of the match trophies to ensure these youngsters could enjoy their football development and that the
The manager and coach didn’t need to worry about financing kits etc.
This has gone extremely well for Stephen and his team, who are challenging in the league, have had players go for trials at a Premier League club and have also had outside coaching made available to them.
Members of the Red Dog team have been to watch their matches, to give encouragement and praise and to present player of the match awards.
We’re delighted that all the young teams we’ve sponsored so far have had a great start to their respective playing time, and by the looks on their faces, fully enjoying the game as they should do.
Not only have Red Dog Transport sponsored football teams and clubs through the years, but also internally, any colleague or wife who has committed to fundraising for such worthwhile charities like Rainbows, Alzheimers and Anthony Nolan. They have received support and donations to meet their ever-growing targets and ensure that money is directed to life-changing and life-saving charities. This encourages Jane Taylor to complete her half marathon for Rainbows, Helen Stocks to run 30 miles in a month for the Anthony Nolan Trust and Dave Stocks to complete his cycling target for United against Dementia.
Over £3,000 was raised by these 3 alone and Red Dog Transport were with them for every mile ran or cycled.
